nice day, saturday

slept in. feels great. going to ART class at 2 and then to an ART walk with my beloved. booked the tickets for the portugal trip. talked to the documentary people. sounds like it could be interesting.
simon has 2 reviews to write next week and shows to go see. its a damn fine life, i have to say. even though there is an 'undertoad' with this so called freindly occupation in iraq.
like bill maher says - why do they hate us? well, i can think of a few reasons.

mosaics

i have the best husband ever. i started the mosaic class yesterday and its way groovy. i love working with natural and found objects. got a great piece of granite and lots of pottery/ceramic bits to build my piece. it may turn into a water feature. i am not sure yet. it was so much fun. wednesday night i go back and work more on it. its going to be very interesting. between now and then i have to chip out all the various pieces for the pattern. brought home a garbage back full of broken dishes, cups etc. viva la simon.
then we went to the artwalk, saw nance do yoga and hung out with sus.
today? yoga, chillin with the si-guy and bopping around, generally quite happy.

monday

the body is a strange organism - getting and staying healthy is a constant, ongoing process.
on a cellular level, we rejuvinate completely every 7 years....hmmmm.
gotta figure out the logistics for this week - where we need to be at what time, who we meet up with, work deadlines, money issues.
yesterday was so fucking nice. yoga, chilling with si, reading the NYtimes, napping, watching our 6 feet under, making out...
deliciously decadent. Now today is an entirely different matter. wish i had more energy. am pushing through the sleepiness - the drizzle has a bit to do with it, i am sure...
anyway - i do love this life and appreciate it fully.
si to paint for hester tomorrow and then we go to a dodger game - whoopee!
should be fun - an american pastime he knows naught about.
