i am crap at lj cuts and wanted to get this in the journal. forgive me. we had such a great night - went out to hear great music - had a proper date and celebrated.

The text will automatically say 'read more' ( I think) If you want it to say something else, then use <lj-cut text="your text inside quotations"> and the closing tag again. You don't have to be in rich mode to do it that way.
