lovely sunday morning

everything is quiet and the day is resolute. California blue skies, birds, smell of spring and possibilities. i want to move through today feeling strong. god, simon made me laugh last night. we had tears running down our faces and our stomachs were aching.
he makes me a better person and i want to be a better person.
not sloggish, but sparkling. not cynical, although this has a place.
farmers market, grocery store after yoga with nance. making love in the afternoon, listening to his stories. going to see kate and taking a walk with her.
a movie? perhaps. some work stuff to finish up.
and a feeling of well being, as much as a responsible person can have, with the war at our doors and an idiot leading the way.
