before 8am

dont want to go to any yard sales this morning. the apple incident almost did us in last night, but what a lovely time we had at Tom and Vickis - unexpected birthday dinner.
scrambled up day yesterday. seemed really hard to get anything done.
hope the mr. feels better - he is sleeping sound this am. he was really not well last night.
will go see blake tonight - switch cars and take a drive tomorrow so simon has some more time under his belt. want him to be confident in the face of the evil dmv on wednesday.
inspired by simon - makes me quit my whining about my job. he changed everything in his life to be with me and to try something new.
he is really doing it, too - focused and driven. sometimes i wonder what is going on in his head - what dreams and thoughts are stirring and whirling around.
i dont feel bad for 43. almost 43. shit - where does the time go -

friday - 6am

a bit antsy this morning. chafing under the bit and wanting to move forward but wanting to be safe about it. well. maybe not safe.
i love this time of day - the sky hasn't decided what color it wants to be but is leaning towards blue. we dont know yet if there iwill be grey clouds and mist or clouds at all. jus a bit of rosy dawn around the edges.
NPR drones on in the back ground and i begin my mental lists. dual lists - work stuff and personal.
day by day, we get into our groove trying to keep the edge in there, we dont want to be complacent or get fat and lazy.
why do i get so tired these days? i wish i had more energy. i am eating ok, getting exercise. although i could always exercise more.
its the weekend almost, though and we do welcome the possibilities.
soon i wont have a job that makes me live for the weekends and evenings, though.
changes are in the air.
