so here i am. simon gone off to a conference and blake at one of his gigs. playing chrissie hynde and springsteen and zevon and all the shit i love. nothing like a bass beat - there is miles in the mix, i think. so i think i am fine, just fine. do miss that boy of mine. and making it through this project. some days better than others. i do love what i am learning and where the process takes me. i like to be engulfed. by work, my love simon, being a mom, by my beliefs and the deep rivers that run inside of me stirred by the world and the big things, but the best are the small things, that take on wonderful proportions. a bud on a plant or a new root. a song. a beautiful word. seeing simon and feeling like its the first time. thinking of blake and being overwhelmed by my love for him - its a good life. not without tears, sometimes alot of them. but a good life.
