yard saling with a hangover

we stayed out way too late. but simons friends were here from the UK. whaddya gonna do? i personally only had 2 glasses of merlot and lots of water, but my partner started with a Mojito, moved on to savignon blanc, then a sambucca then more savignon.

i missed yoga, but tried to salvage all by going yard saling with a vengeance. bless simon for goingwith me. we just got home about 30 minutes ago and he lost conciousness almost immediately. andrews salts and emergency/vitamin c is currently in the IV for him. poor baby!

ok - he scored with a batch of Batman comics. this his huge in his world. i just peeked in the patients ward and he is napping with one on his chest - there are evidently a bunch written by different alternative writers that take place in alternative universes, not Gotham. he did not have them.

then, i found 4 gorgeous wine glasses, which we needed badly, a terracotta angel and a tiny italian bowl for putting jewerly in. 2 buck for all of this.

fireplace tools, 4 dollars. finally!~!!!! a candle that smells like black cherry.

the best for me was the first buy. for 50cents, i got this cool towel /key rack. looks like a distressed piece of wood with faded 'arts and crafts'type of wall paper and a chipped paint hook. i loved it, bought it and the lady chuckled telling me it was a high dollar item at anthropologie!.

its way cool looking, though.

i have to nap now. no hangover but coming home at 2 is not the norm! plus we have a super social weekend. tonight a party(surprise birthday) for a friend and a cajun Oscar party tomorrow night. i am keywording for a couple of hours this afternoon though...
