heads down get to work

its been that kind of day. glad i have the focus. there is alot to do in the next few weeks.
sticking close to the hubby - the anniversary of his dads passing is tomorrow and he is really low. plus earlier this week, he got terrible news. the archives for the arts organization he built and ran in the UK for 20 years burned in an arson fire. some stuff was salvagable, but alot of it melted beyond repair. he has worked on rebuilding it with bits and pieces all week with his former colleagues on top of a magazine deadline and he is just done in. last night he went to bed at 9 - usually he is the night owl. we talked to my mother in law today. she is going to scotland with one of the daughters for a few days but its just rough.

we just went for a long walk and grabbed a bite. went to the pier and looked at everything, played pinball, which got a laugh.
time passes way too quickly. this year is almost half over. letting go, not grasping, being in the moment, not leapfrogging into the next thing.
just sit with right now.
i want to go see the bradbury building this week and photograph it. remember - from bladerunner?
