Friday, 17 June 2005 19:12i am so damn glad to be in my home office with the music loud, and all my familiar clutter around me!
work is fine,, but the weekend is finer.
i had a wonderful birthday - simon surprised me with a bunch of goodies - earrings taped on the steering wheel of the car when i went to go to work, lovely candles and bath salts when i went to the bathroom(soon to be enjoyed!), he took a photo of mine and did some cool photoshop magic on it and printed it on rice paper. i will post it when i am not so lazy.
we went to see batman - enjoyed it immensely.
Blake is in his tour groove and telling me how happy he is, singing and playing, so i am pleased abut that.
i want to frame photos this weekend, do some arts stuff - have a couple of collage ideas i have to get on paper.
want to walk down the street with simon and a camera. we MAY go see a good band tomorrow night(the blues, which would be heavenly), but really, this is the first weekend in a month where we dont have tons of shit to do and i am just going to bask in the moment. i have alot to be grateful for.
plus, i can almost fit into the vacation pants the way i want to, so thats nice too. i cant believe i am 45 - i feel 18 alot of the time. this is good. a year ago to this day, i was wicked sick with a migraine and the flu and felt awful... while everything is not perfect now, i am so glad it is now and not then.
