good weekend. simon finally done with the film and resting up. got himself a great cord jacket today. glad he treated himself finally. we are gearing up to have a big tday with all the single/misplaced folks we can find. i dont have to work on friday so we are taking off up the coast. i got great deals on hotels. it took two hours, but we got a room in one of the oldest hotels in monterey at a way low rate. we stayed there together before - v. romantic. gonna be lovely.

wish i had a book i could wrap my head around. yikes.
missing blake, need to hear from him...hope all is ok. he sounded great earlier in the week. we may go back east for xmas. looking at cashing in some miles, etc.
i slept so much this weekend. god it felt great. we had a fire last night and got into each other again - first weekend together alone in 2 months.
