long time

have not had a minute to post for weeks. we have had constant company from the uk/europe. very fun. right now simons niece and her dutch boyfriend are with us - bakcpacking round the world. great people. school, new job, we are way busy. off to dim-sum and a chinese new year celebration in a few minutes.

the niece, becky is a chef and has been cooking for us - she is amazing. its really wonderful for simon to have some of his family here.
have not heard from blake recently. really irritated about this and half worried. not much i can do except let that go.
my dad had more surgery, but seems to be ok.
like the new job fine. simon and i have been out at galleries alot lately. good stuf to see. wish we had some $$ to buy...
we need to keep looking for a place, although we have been so slammed, there has not been an opportunity.
time for a shower.
