hot and smoggy

the only thing left to do is to turn on the air conditioning and make coke floats.

I will fully enjoy the Fall, which is my favorite time of year anyway, after this hateful summer. When we were in NY, I noticed how very blue the sky is there compared to the washed out dirty smoggy sky we have here in L.A. in the summer.

crisp, cool days, chilly nights. driving up the coast to see some fall color. making soup again - and chili. wearing sweaters.
