thank you for the support! all is much better - we are ok - the garage is right behind our apartment and we could have easily been back there. the burglars also generally trashed the garage(3 other cars - no other break ins, but they tried) we found out our insurance covers most of the stuff after a deductable - its just stuff - we will get the car repaired and see if we can get a stereo, but its all better. :0 )
