From the Eastern Cemetary The Eastern Cemetary has tons more angels. it seems that angels were seen to be 'obvious' and kind of tacky - the Western Cemetary was where rich folk were buried and that is where you see more symbolism in the stones and crypts; for example an overturned torch(extinguished life) or a snake swallowing its tail(everlasting life). i do love the angels though - like this one
