this is the best time of year, hands down.
we went out on Halloween to see a friends band play,
then we went to east la for Dia De los Muertos on the 2nd - that was absolutely insane, spooky and wonderful -
Simon and i got a cheapo cabin in the mountains and ran away together for the weekend. just got back. blissed out by mega romantic fireplace nights and cold weather. it was 38 at night up there and down here today it was 93 - go figure. 2 hours drive and 8000 ft altitude. glorious fall colors and fallen leaves, full moon - blustery nights.
got the new book Thunderstruck by the same guy that wrote Devil in the White City and it is delish! we saw Prestige and while it did not follow the book exactly, it was great. i do think that had i not read the book, i may have been a bit skeptical, but Simon loved it. he did not think it felt like London in Victorian times though.
we are going to Arkansas to see my folks the first week of the year when tickets are cheap, just for a few days. hopefully blake will come also.
have non stop photo shoots/deadlines from now til Dec 6th. trying hard to keep up with fun stuff - did major yoga last weekend.
bliss again.
i think if i can stay away from cell phones mainly and internet mostly on days off life is better and i can stay balanced. that and tons of exercise.
black cohosh and royal maca seem to be doing all right.
ok - just paid all the bills. going to watch the Gleaners and I now - supposed to be really cool.
