scotcheggi like this weekend. week has been way busy - work, social-work stuff, friends in town and starting to get ready for going to England. we are only going for 2 weeks, but there is 2 weeks worth of stuff to do!
shopping for stuff people in england like(emergen-C, records, American Apparal tshirts,presents for the stepdaughters etc)
arranging the cat sitter. hoping that they will water the plants too.
cleaning big time - want to come home to a clean house
drycleaners.
post office=hold mail
do all the work i can think of in advance.
Simon has to do the same - write a bunch of blogs in advance, prep his summer curriculum (he is teaching again this summer when we get back.)
oh and i got my hair done today - i look smashing and hope we can have a date night tonight!!!! -
we are going to have a nap now though - steal a few hours
will see Blake tomorrow AM - he is back from peru, in school and working TOO much - 7 days in a row. there was a crackdown at the restaurant which resulted in finding out who was stealing. a ton of waiters got canned and my honest, hardworking son has to cover shifts until they can hire/train new wait people. he is stressed. says that peru is a million years ago - he and his girlfriend are taking full loads in summer school and work and are not seeing enough of each other. We really like her - all of us going to the farmers market tomorrow and to breakfast.
just got a great new book too - from an argentinian author called
Alberto Andahazi, it looks so good - about Mary Shelley, ordered a used copy. i love the internet.
i read about him a few weeks ago and have been dying to read his stuff.
i think there its going to be a scorcher today though.
