great hike
Sunday, 18 September 2005 19:30out in Malibu canyon. just amazing. so many tv shows and movies have been filmed in and around there(mash, How Green was My Valley, Planet of the Apes) that it was surreal. you fell a little like you are on a set, everything you see lends itself to a dja-vu feeling. I had to keep reminding myself that it was just memories of tv shows.
we drove back over topanga. think we will hike there next weekend. we both did pretty good today. really miss doing that and want to get back in the habit.
cooking dinner, doing laundry. I have to say that i dont mind chores. there is a good simple essential thing about taking care of your family that is immensely satisfying.
blake cut all of his hair off. really looks handsome. his ears stick out, but im his mom and its cute.
Simon gets his white trash tuna cassarole - it is sunday night afterall. we are such creatures of habit. i ran out of Old bay spice though. they dont sell it out here. i am going to hunt around to find some on the internet now.
