so much conflict and political garbage at all levels - how DID the Civil Rights Movement achieve so much and now with so much division and a lack of leadership and what leadership there is recycles sound bites and co-opts a sentence here and there to serve special interests.
how do we get pure. pure in intent and stay on course, regardless of all the flim-flam and floating garbage barges? dont push that hard, you aren't pushing hard enought, compromise a little, compromise alot and be judged by your own. watch your family make a cottage industry out of every scrap of paper and learn the dance of litigation. oh, Dr. King, your words struck this white girl and your struggle and the struggle of the simple individual makes me realize how very lucky i am and makes me not give up my meager pitiful search. i really am not a centrist or a militant, but i will be damned if i can stand by and accept a blanket explanation of history. maybe i am a conspiracy theorist and maybe there is nothing more there than what meets the eye and no grand spiderweb of whispers.
