i love the mornings

as stressfull as living here is and has been, mostly due to the cost, i do love the kitchen. it is the best kitchen i think i have ever had. my ritual of getting up early as the sun rises and cleaning it, taking care of the cat and making coffee in the quiet is truly satisfying. the window looks out on the courtyard and i see all the neighbors in their corporate clothes hurrying to the garage, or the actress and other unemployeds heading out to walk their dogs. Cool air in the morning breathes better. sounds silly but its true.

i think i am well or almost. slept all the way through the night almost. this is the first time in 2 weeks. no meds, no melatonin, just me. so i will start work in a few minutes. today i have meetings at air hollywood and a phone call thing with the director of the indian rights documentary. i want this last project to end SOON. i am really done with it (and the director!) i gave them a way reduced rate in exchange for the credit and they are months behind schedule. wish them well, but i have to make more money.

Most enjoyable reading! Love my kitchen and it's rituals as well. Cats are somewhat more patient in the morning than a dog is. Sometimes they'll even let you sleep in if *they* feel like it.
