yesterday was non stop from 8 til past 11 - the interview went well. the lunch was fine. i had a nutty call from one of my clients and had to go all over fucking LA for him and pick someone up, have a meeting, drop her off at her hotel and then i went to hear Bee Lavendar read from her new book. met up with a filmmaker i did some work with earlier last year for a coffee.got home late but it took a long time to unwind - a little red vino and a hot bath.
today had to drive to see a client and was out most of the day. back in the office - answered emails, calls, etc. simon went to have a drink with a bud.

trying to chill - tomorrow is way busy and friday i have a gig that pays really well, but its a long day a couple hours from here.

so if i get offered a staff position, i may well take it not just for the steady check and benefits, but to have a bit more control over the days. i over tired, crampy, havent worked out this week. it would really be great to have health insurance. it would be great to stop always doing figures in my head. granted this has been a good month for us. but its always such a hustle. i know i have the bills paid fully through June without looking at savings right now. beyond that the prospects are ok. i just need more than covering the bills. i want my own house. Simon does too.
i am so stoked on him getting into grad school - yep, i am definitely taking the job if i get it. the work could be fun, the people are real from what i have seen and there would be a load less stress. then when the lease is up here, we either go to student housing which is dirt cheap, or we buy a little(very little) place.
i need to check again on my credit report to make sure its still as good as it was.

having an evening alone with a fire and Van Helsing. really wish this was a better movie. everything looks really great, but the story is sad beyond belief. really poor.

hope it does rain tonight. with a fire, i could definitely get into that.
ok - let me go see what Hugh Jackman is up to.

I still enjoyed it, except for Mr. Hyde looking like the Hulk on 'roids.

i want my own house.
Be careful what you wish for. Caring for the landscaping alone when I'm broke is making me want to give mine up (besides the mortgage is draining me).

I recognised that the movie was probably crap but loved it anyway! The vampires were just wonderful and it was a visual treat when they died.
