When blake was a baby and just learning to walk, i remember taking him to the park in spring and taking his little shoes off. i set him in the grass and it shocked him to feel the blades under his feet. he did not like running barefoot there at all and preferred the beach. i woke up thinking about that this morning and how he looked like some little cherub with his long blond curls. he did not have a hair cut until he was nearly 2. i still have the locks. now he is over 6 feet tall, with goth black hair and rocks out. still has the same blue/hazel eyes that change color. still has that smile that breaks a mothers heart. truly the best thing i ever did.

so i worked harder last week than i have in a long time, traveling all over for meetings, etc. the place i interviewed at twice has given me some freelance research. i think they want to check me out. thats fine. to be honest i am whipped this weekend. we are going to see a photo show - joel peter witkin and then to the grocery store. i have cramps. but hey.

ok - off to shower.
want to see Hitch Hikers guide tonight.
