When blake was a baby and just learning to walk, i remember taking him to the park in spring and taking his little shoes off. i set him in the grass and it shocked him to feel the blades under his feet. he did not like running barefoot there at all and preferred the beach. i woke up thinking about that this morning and how he looked like some little cherub with his long blond curls. he did not have a hair cut until he was nearly 2. i still have the locks. now he is over 6 feet tall, with goth black hair and rocks out. still has the same blue/hazel eyes that change color. still has that smile that breaks a mothers heart. truly the best thing i ever did.

so i worked harder last week than i have in a long time, traveling all over for meetings, etc. the place i interviewed at twice has given me some freelance research. i think they want to check me out. thats fine. to be honest i am whipped this weekend. we are going to see a photo show - joel peter witkin and then to the grocery store. i have cramps. but hey.

ok - off to shower.
want to see Hitch Hikers guide tonight.

I see he's just as addicted to blogging as his mom. :)

He's on myspace.com and purevolume.com (which is good).

There's also another site called garagebands.com

My nephew (On the Front) is on all of them as well.

not very good ones

Simon looks like how I pictured him.

Love the livingroom pic. ::Blinks:: I swear I and every one of my friends has a rocking chair. Wonder why that is?

I also don't see any plastic (which I try to avoid in decorating as much as I can).

During the summer I keep white birch logs for decoration in the fireplace and big candles like your white ones in front of them for when I still want a fire.
