home. all good, except i truly hate the human race especially when i have to travel with them stuffed in a plane, but all in all we had such a great time.
i got tons of pictures at Highgate, which is just flat out magical and we both could have stayed an wandered forever. will post soon. its a beautiful country. the bullshit in London was just awful. chicken shit bombers. they hit a bus and the underground where just normal everyday joes like me were on their way to work, school, the store. all in all it could have been much much worse, but there is alot of pain. you cannot go anywhere without seeing tons of flowers.
Devon was amazing, so was Newcastle and seeing old friends, although there was much strum and drang. its a goldfish kind of town and it was like everyone saved up for simon to dump on him about gossipy stuff - feuds, slights, but in the end, we had a good time.
back home, have a mother of a headache, which i am praying does not expand into the 'm' word. we unpacked, am doing laundry and hope to sleep through the night as i am back at work tomorrow.
we did not spend very much at all and think that we are in the black.
one of my old bosses sold his company for 63 million dollars. holy moly. i knew him when he and his wife were scraping out a living photographing food in an old warehouse downtown. i called him to congratuate him and am going for champagne soon. 63 million dollars. unbelievable. if i would have stayed with the company, i would have had a piece of that, but i didnt, so i dont, so i can just forget about it.
i am happy for them.
simon went to get me some exedrin and coffee. starting to feel tres tired.
