this and that

life is pretty good, hectic, but we are having a great time fixing up the place. simon got me the greatest bday present.
i love the art of lesley reppeteaux and he bought a piece from her for me - i got to go to the gallery tonight before the show opened and picked out what i wanted(www.thinkspacegallery.com). unbelievable man.
the boy man son is working hard saving his sheckels to go back to college now that the band has 'dis'banded. he is also performing poetry alot.
work is a trip! i am crazy busy and working for a corp. really is surreal. hope i can last and keep the fat trap shut. we need the money!
si guy is writing and off to the uk for a gig next week. i will join him at the end of the month.
i sweat everytime we have big travel plans... were in london last year when the bombs went off... had tickets to fly to the uk on 9/11... but really the world we live in has forever changed now that all realize that the US is pretty damn vulnerable. it was time to take off the rose colored glasses.
i just hope we can continue living like we are and that our family and friends and all really can stay safe naive as that may be..
ate too much tonight at Allegria - yum.
selling stuff on ebay and craigs list - want to be able to raise enough to buy a Bose for the ipod.. we are close to halfway there.
working out or doing yoga average of 6 days a week. has made a difference in migraine frequency, although i still get them and get so depressed. was a great article in NYT about them today.
i have a better mental outlook and more energy though.
just finishing up 'the pale blue eye' not bad!
hope i can take a book on the plane..
badly need to get my hair done. evil roots!
need to find excellent bday present for si guy for Oct. b'day... tickets to the Furs maybe? some insane batman thing? hmmmm....
there is a new Loreena McKennit due out in Autumn...life is grand.
